Las estatuillas antropomorfas de Vichama \u2013el hall azgo de un grupo de arque\u00f3logos liderado por la investigadora peruana Ruth Shady\u2013 son distinguidas por la revista \u201cNational Geographic\u201d como uno de los descubrimientos m\u00e1s importantes de 2015.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-10424\" src=\"http:\/\/www.zonacaral.gob.pe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/cosas-15-04-2016-02.jpg\" alt=\"cosas-15-04-2016-02\" width=\"162\" height=\"165\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zonacaral.gob.pe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/cosas-15-04-2016-02.jpg 300w, https:\/\/zonacaral.gob.pe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/cosas-15-04-2016-02-294x300.jpg 294w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 162px) 100vw, 162px\" \/>\u00bfSe imaginan qu\u00e9 ser\u00eda del mundo si, en lugar del caos en el que vivimos, tuvi\u00e9semos la organizaci\u00f3n y el respeto por la naturaleza que ten\u00edan los pobladores antiguos de Vichama?\u201d, interpelaba Ruth Shady hace ocho meses, mientras narraba el descubrimiento arqueol\u00f3gico m\u00e1s importante de los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os en Caral. Hac\u00eda algunas semanas que su equipo de excavaci\u00f3n hab\u00eda descubierto una serie de estatuillas antropomorfas que, en un territorio golpeado por las sequ\u00edas, sobrevivieron unos 3800 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las piezas de barro sin cocer representaban \u2013por su fisonom\u00eda y vestuario\u2013 a una sacerdotisa con pintura facial blanca y punteado rojo, y otras dos figuras que correspond\u00edan a personajes de la alta jerarqu\u00eda. Por un lado, un hombre desnudo con la pierna izquierda flexionada; y por otro, una mujer de cabellera roja y labios pintados de negro. Eran ofrendas que permit\u00edan analizar la organizaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica y social de los antiguos pobladores de la ciudad m\u00e1s antigua de Am\u00e9rica, pero tambi\u00e9n \u00edconos de la relaci\u00f3n arm\u00f3nica que tuvo este asentamiento \u2013de una extensi\u00f3n aproximada de 25 hect\u00e1reas durante su apogeo\u2013 con la naturaleza.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ahora, este descubrimiento en la cuna de la civilizaci\u00f3n andina ha sido distinguido por la revista especializada \u201cNational Geographic\u201d como uno de los diez hallazgos m\u00e1s importantes de 2015, junto a otros de Espa\u00f1a, Francia, Egipto, Israel, Sud\u00e1frica, Grecia, Suiza, Italia y China.
