The Sub-Directorate for the Conservation of Archaeological Real Estate is responsible for carrying out conservation actions on archaeological real estate located within the area of ​​intervention of the decentralized body, the Caral-Supe Special Archaeological Project. It reports hierarchically to the Directorate for Research and Conservation of Archaeological Real Estate.

The functions of the Sub-Directorate for the Conservation of Archaeological Real Estate are as follows: siguientes:

1. To efficiently, effectively, and sustainably execute preventive and curative conservation actions on archaeological real estate located within the intervention area of ​​the decentralized body, the Caral-Supe Archaeological Special Project.
2. To monitor the results of preventive and curative conservation activities and propose any necessary corrective measures.
3. To prepare a descriptive, photographic, video, and graphic record of the conservation actions carried out on archaeological real estate located within the intervention area of ​​the decentralized body, the Caral-Supe Archaeological Special Project.
4. To manage the appropriate preservation conditions for archaeological real estate located within the intervention area of ​​the decentralized body, the Caral-Supe Archaeological Special Project.
5. To issue technical opinions within the scope of its competence.
6. The other functions assigned to it by the Directorate of Research and Conservation of Archaeological Real Estate within the framework of its competencies or those that correspond to it by express regulation.
